The nearest airport to Alanya is Antalya (AYT), about 125 km away, roughly 105 minutes by private transfer. You can lunch at riverside restaurants on the cool Dim River, explore the stalactites of Dim Cave, join a boat trip from the harbour past the pirate caves, or ride the cable car up to the castle. Suburbs such as Mahmutlar, Oba and Avsallar offer a quieter base a short drive from the centre.
