Overview
The Fethiye Camel Safari turns an ordinary holiday afternoon into a gently exotic adventure. When you reach the ranch, our experienced handlers welcome you and introduce you to your camel, no prior experience is needed. Before setting off, we encourage you to pet and greet your camel; it is the loveliest way to build a little bond before you climb aboard.
The journey begins in the cool shade of the pine forest. Moving at an easy, swaying pace and accompanied by birdsong and the scent of resin, the caravan carries you toward sweeping views of the Taurus Mountains. At the heart of the route lies Kayaköy, the abandoned Greek village once known as Levissi. Among its stone houses and narrow lanes, where time seems frozen, you can capture photographs from the saddle that you will treasure for years.
On the way back you pass once more through the forest as the lowering sun reveals countless shades of green, and the day closes in a peaceful hush. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are arranged for you by GET4S, so all you need to do is savour the moment.
