The base class vehicle is a 6-seat Mercedes Vito, which fits ski and snowboard bags without an extra equipment fee: one Vito is enough for up to 4 people travelling with ski bags, and larger groups are advised to book a minibus. A child seat is available free of charge on request.

Payment can be made online by card before the trip or in cash to the driver in EUR, USD, GBP or TL, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup. A 20 percent night supplement applies to pickups between 22:00 and 06:00, and a 5 percent discount applies to return bookings. All of this is agreed at the time of booking, so the amount you are quoted is the amount you pay for the vehicle.

Kartepe Ski Resort sits at the top of the Samanlı Mountains in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli, overlooking Lake Sapanca and the Gulf of İzmit, and it is the ski resort closest to Istanbul. Your driver drops you at the ski resort itself. Kartepe, Maşukiye and Sapanca are close to each other, and transfers to Sapanca hotels can be booked as a separate route on the site.

The altitude of Kartepe is lower than that of Uludağ and Kartalkaya, so in years with little snow the opening of the runs can be delayed and it is worth checking the snow conditions before you travel. The opening and closing dates of the ski season change every year with the snow, so the resort's own announcements are the reliable source. Half-term holidays and weekends are the busiest periods.
