Uzungöl is a lake at 1,090 m altitude in the Çaykara district of Trabzon, surrounded by mountains, with a mosque, bungalows and hotels along the shore, and it is one of the most visited places in the Eastern Black Sea. Hotels and bungalows are located around the lake and on the slopes of Şerah village, and the driver takes you to the hotel door. In winter (December to March) the road can be covered with snow, and the vehicles have winter tyres.

Public transport from the airport to Ayder and Çamlıhemşin does not exist, and to Uzungöl there is only a minibus option with a transfer in Pazar district centre. Airport taxis run on the meter and the final fare can rise with traffic, weather and waiting.
