Three things are worth knowing. First, Antalya uses a single day/night tariff, so there is no official night surcharge. Second, motorway tolls and the airport exit fee can be added to the fare. Third, in peak season traffic on the coastal D400 road can stretch both the journey time and the meter — on runs of over 100 km, such as Alanya, the difference between a quiet and a busy day can easily be €20 or more.

Taxi, shuttle or private transfer — which should you choose?
A taxi is practical for short hops like Lara if you travel light, but the final price is only known when the meter stops, and queues at the rank can be long in summer. A shared shuttle has the lowest per-person price, yet it waits for passengers from several flights and then tours the hotels: a 60-minute drive to Side can easily become a 2.5–3 hour ride.
A private transfer is a different category altogether: your driver meets you in arrivals with a name board, waits free of charge if your flight is delayed, the vehicle is exclusively yours, and the price is fixed the moment you book. From two passengers upwards — especially on the longer Belek–Side–Alanya corridor — the total cost is usually equal to or below the taxi meter.
